     Ozark Jungle Bengals is a small Bengal breeder located in Northeast Arkansas.  We are members of TICA, TIBCS, and TIBBA.  In our practice, we believe in comfort for our Bengals.  We do not support the common cattery practice of caging or small pens.  Our cats have their own "house" where they can run, play, climb, and enjoy being cats.  Our kittens are raised in the home environment and are well socialized.  All of our Bengals are guaranteed to be spoiled rotten.

     We are dedicated to the Bengal cats.  We strive to produce high quality Bengals with exceptional pedigrees, conformation, and pelt quality combined with an outgoing (but loving) personality.  We carefully plan each litter so we can enhance these qualities.  Many of our breeding Bengals have champion bloodlines.  Currently, all of our Bengals are in the SBT generation (4 or more generations from the wild Asian Leopard cat).  In the future, we plan to expand our breeding stock to include foundation Bengals.

     Another goal we have as a Bengal breeder is to provide quality Bengals at an affordable price.  We carefully evaluate each kitten for conformation traits and pelt quality using the Bengal Breed Standard as our guide.  (Bengal Breed Standard can be viewed at www.tica.org .)  Upon evaluation, our kittens will fall into one of three categories:  Pet, Breeder, or Show.  We also offer altered adult Bengals.

PETS:  These kittens make excellent pets even though they do not meet Bengal Breed Standard.  These kittens may exhibit some imperfections including (but not limited to) ears that are a little big, a thin tail, a domestic looking face, or even a recessive color.  Picking a pet Bengal will allow you to enjoy the Bengal personality at an affordable price. 

BREEDERS:  Breeder kittens will meet Bengal Breed Standard.   These kittens have the characteristics necessary to be successful in a breeding program.  When evaluating the kittens, some things I look for is puffy whisker pads, chin indention, long & strong body, a thick tail,  coat color, coat clarity, and pelt quality. 

SHOW:  Show kittens meet and exceed Bengal Breed Standard.  These kittens are what I consider "perfect".  They are exceptional from the tip of their nose to the tip of their tail.  I will occassionally have show quality Bengals.  Please contact me for information on the next show quality litter.

ALTERS:  Alters are Bengal cats that have been spayed or neutered.  In many cases, alters are retired breeders.  They are "middle-aged" cats that are still in good health.  You can expect many happy years with your Bengal alter.
